Thanks for this !

But it seems like the shortcut key won't work for the arbitrary registered domain via Google Apps Email.

Hi Jeff,

FYI, I traced my problem to an experimental Textmate plugin I was using. The symptom of the problem is that the proxy icons on the Textmate window went missing, which somehow was related to the DTerm problem. All fixed now.

Tony

Hi Jeff,

Some good tips here, thanks. One clarification if you have time: in the DTerm section of this post, you seem to say that if you have a file open in Textmate then DTerm will automatically get its directory. This isn't working for me. No matter what I do, I get the generic DTerm popup at the top of my screen using my home directory, rather than a Textmate specific one that is using the directory of the file I'm editing.

Do I need to do something extra to get this to work? Or am I mis-interpreting what you said above.

I'm using Mac OS X 10.6.4 with TextMate 1.5.9 and DTerm 1.4.

thanks,
Tony
